The Shakuhachi 5は、今年の「国際尺八フェスティバルプラハ（ISFP）」のメインゲストとして参加します。5つのコンサートで演奏するほか、ワークショップ、マスタークラスも行います。ヨーロッパの尺八愛好家の皆様、是非プラハでお会いしましょう！！
6/9の本曲コンサートでは、鹿の遠音（五重奏版）をヨーロッパ初演。6/20のメインコンサートでは、ミロスラフ・スルンカ (Miroslav Srnka) 氏に委嘱した新作を初演します。
この作品は、The Shakuhachi 5の〈浮世絵プロジェクト〉による作品で、プラハ国立美術館所蔵の「尺八が描かれた浮世絵」からインスピレーションを受けて書かれています。また、演奏に合わせて、それらの浮世絵を使用した映像作品が投影されます。この、映像作家 マレク・マトヴィヤ (Marek Matvija) による映像にもどうぞご注目ください。

The main concert of the International Shakuhachi Festival Prague 2025 will bring an unforgettable musical experience that will immerse you in the fascinating world of Japanese music. This exceptional evening will feature compositions written for the ensemble The Shakuhachi 5, which combine the traditional Japanese shakuhachi flute with avant-garde compositional techniques. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to hear a unique audiovisual composition by Miroslav Srnka and filmmaker Marek Matvija, inspired by the masterful Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock prints from the National Gallery in Prague. This unmistakable program, which combines the past and future of Japanese music, will be part of an international cycle, the premieres of which will take place in New York, Tokyo and Prague.
